SMKA Tun Ahmadshah

Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Agama Tun Ahmadshah (formerly known as SMKA Inanam) is a religious school in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Malaysia. The school was established in 1988.
== History ==

SMK Agama Inanam was initially a common secondary school opened on 1 January 1988, the number of teachers was 14 in the first semester and 24 in the second semester. There were 455 students, of which 184 lived in hostels. The principal at that time was Mr. Matshah Abdul Hamid. Each cohort consisted of four classes. This was later increased to 10.
At the end of 1988, there were proposals to turn the school into a religious school with the location of the proposed religious school in the district of Ranau still under construction. The department agreed to place the religious school at a strategic location that was close to the central administration.
The proposal became a reality when students from Form Five and Form Upper Six, along with 20 teachers from SMK Agama Limauan, transferred to the school on 3 January 1989. At that time, some changes in the administration occurred in exchange for the principal and two senior assistants. This school officially became a religious secondary school in Sabah. Also, the school's name changed from SMK Inanam to SMK Agama Inanam. The number of teachers and school students increased from year to year until the year 2000 when the number of teachers reached 53 while the number of students was 479.
In 2005, the Sabah State Assemblywoman for Karambunai, Jainab Ahmad, was appointed as the school's ceremonial president by the school principal on that time, Idrus Abdul Rahman.
As of May 2010, the school capacity is 440 students with school sessions conducted by 42 teachers, including two DG48-grade teachers and 13 DG44-grade teachers, while the administration is conducted by 14 non-teaching staff (KTBM), which consists of an Administrative Assistant, three Hostel Supervisor, two Lab Assistant, a computer technician and the rest serve as general assistants and drivers.
In 2010 also, the school's name was changed once more to SMK Agama Tun Ahmadshah to commemorate the administration of Sabah's 9th Governor, Ahmadshah Abdullah. The change of the school's name was approved on 9 September 2009 by the Malaysian Ministry of Education.
